Clovis   (12000 BC - 8000 BC)
4 5/8" L
Johnson County, IN
Paleo  (12000 BC - 8000 BC)
A very large and [RARE] Clovis point collected by the late Orville Clark of Johnson County Indiana. This fine piece is an absolute classic huge percussion flaking with the fine secondary edge work and nicely fluted base. This piece has been authenticated by Dwain Rogers. An interesting observation on this point is that the base has two impact blows and must have been done by the shaft slamming into the back of the point at some impact.
